Healthcare Recruiter Role:
The Healthcare Recruiter will source and recruit nurse practitioners for the in-home visits program to provide in-home health assessments to eligible members.
Execute the national recruiting plan employing strategies
Work closely with the Provider Manager on the network attributes and determine existing coverage gaps to refine recruiting strategies and build fulfillment timelines
Maintain positive engagement with candidates throughout the onboarding process to lead to gaining referrals
Create recruiting action plans to document the recruitment approach for each region, including outlining the strategy and tools used to source and hire candidates for network coverage
Follow recruitment action plan by aggressively recruiting nurse practitioners through various sources including existing database, internet, job boards, referrals, social media, nursing schools, job fairs and direct mail
Develop a strong candidate pipeline
Determine the candidate’ s soft skills/people skills necessary for successful in-home member care
Take candidates through the selection process including resume, application review, and pre-screening
Negotiate and extend offers
Fulfillment of the network coverage needs within the defined territory and forecasted capacity requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for the nurse practitioner throughout the process
Assist Credentialing 
Identify opportunities for implementing full time and part time nurse practitioners
Actively network as a means of gaining qualified candidates
Be involved with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and the existing provider network
Identify qualified passive candidates and maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
Maintain and establish regular communication with the Provider Managers and active nurse practitioners to have a strong relationship and source new candidate leads
Prepare progress reports and submit to appropriate supervisors
Achieve recruiting metrics and KPI’ s

Healthcare Recruiter Background Profile:
The Healthcare Recruiter will have a Bachelor’ s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields preferred
5+ years’ experience as a healthcare recruiter
1-2 years’ experience recruiting for locum tenens positions
Experience with in-home healthcare recruiting – recruiting candidates who will be going into people’ s homes
Experience recruiting traveling nurses or physicians would be a benefit
Stable work tenure required
Strong sense of urgency and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently
