Our client located in Houston, TX has an immediate need for a Export Analyst on a direct-hire basis.

Export Analyst Role:
Export Analyst will lead and support compliance activities related to export control regulations and foreign national access.
Play a key role in facilitating the processes principles governing trade compliance and export controls and within the organization.
Oversee compliance processes for foreign national access to sensitive technology and facilities.
Stay up to date with current laws and regulations related to export control, with a focus on foreign national access.
Assist in interpreting and applying export compliance policies and procedures.
Export Analyst will support the classification of products, technology, and data for export to ensure alignment with legal requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, including program offices and directorates, to address export control issues and provide guidance on regulatory interpretations.
Review and process export license applications and support the use of available exemptions and exceptions.
Export Analyst will analyze export activities to ensure adherence to U.S. export control laws and regulations.
Follow all federal, state, and company-specific traffic and safety guidelines.
Export Analyst Background Profile:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
5 years of progressive experience in export control or a related field.
Certification as a U.S. Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of export compliance processes, particularly those related to foreign national access and technology transfer.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software and database systems.
