Our client located in Shawnee, OK is seeking a Director of Human Resources on a Direct Hire Basis.

Director of Human Resources Role:
The Human Resources Director will lead and manage all HR operations, focusing on talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and compliance. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing HR programs and policies that align with the organizationâs values and strategic goals, fostering a positive and engaged workforce.
Direct the operations of talent acquisition, onboarding, training, payroll, benefit administration, compliance, and performance reviews
Support the payroll and benefits team, including health, welfare and retirement benefits
Handle employee issues proactively alongside management team
Conduct employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Responsible for approving payroll and occasionally assisting payroll managers with processing
Support workforce planning initiatives
Uphold and promote all employee policies and procedures
Remain compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations and practices such as FMLA and ADA
Review and edit policies and company practices in order to remain compliant
Responsible for drafting, updating, and maintaining HR forms, files, and HRIS system
Director of Human Resources Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 7+ years of HR Management experience, with 3-5 years in leadership
MUST have experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA
Demonstrate ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and concurrent projects
Confident and demonstrates attributes that are highly respected
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Licenses or certifications in HR highly preferred
Bilingual would be a plus
