Our client in Solvang, CA has an immediate opening for a Coffee Bar Manager on a direct hire basis.

Coffee Bar Manager Role:
As the Coffee Bar Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the coffee and juice bar. You will be responsible for the production, preparation, cleaning, supply management, stock rotation, and roasting processes. This leadership position will also involve supervising the department's staff to ensure objectives for sales, margin, inventory control, labor, and customer service are met.
Provide strong leadership to the coffee/juice operations team, setting high service standards and ensuring a motivated and productive workforce.
Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that our coffee and juice offerings consistently meet the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Implement and enforce food safety protocols to guarantee the safety and well-being of our customers and staff.
Conduct ongoing training programs for the department's staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and maintain product knowledge.
Ensure the coffee/juice bar is always clean, organized, and adheres to company standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Oversee the display and presentation of products to maximize visual appeal and customer engagement.
Ensure accurate pricing and implement promotional strategies to drive sales.
Monitor and manage costs to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
Coffee Bar Manager Background Profile:
Minimum 5 years of experience working with coffee, including expertise in brewing, espresso preparation, and latte art.
Minimum 3 years of experience in food management, including knowledge of food safety protocols and inventory control.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage various aspects of the coffee/juice bar operations effectively.
Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and overtime when needed.
Travel between multiple store locations required.

Mike has a passion for community service, having served as a board member for the Bear Creek Specialty Utility District (formerly Lavon Water Supply Corporation) from 2007-2013; Community Independent School District board trustee from 2013-2017; and currently serves as Lavon City Councilman, Place 2 since 2017.
