Job Description
Our client headquartered in Grand Prairie, TX is adding a Benefits Coordinator on a direct hire basis to their HR Team.

Benefits Coordinator Role:
As a Benefits Coordinator you will be the face of the employee benefits programs.
Ensure employees understand the benefits they’re entitled to.
Manage programs like health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and more.
Guide new employees through benefit enrollment and onboarding processes.
Conduct benefits orientations and ongoing educational sessions.
Ensure employees are informed about benefit options and changes.
Benefits Coordinator will address employee concerns and assist with coverage, claims, and policy clarifications.
Stay updated on regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA) to maintain compliance.
Maintain accurate records and update employee information in HR systems.
Lead annual open enrollment efforts and liaise with benefit providers to ensure smooth operations.
Lead quarterly 401k enrollment.
Analyze program costs and effectiveness, offering recommendations for improvements.
Promote and implement employee wellness initiatives.
Travel 1-2 times a year to each location during open enrollment to lead benefit enrollment meetings.
Other duties will include planning company events, update the company announcement bulletin board, and such.
Benefits Coordinator Background Profile:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
Minimum 2 years in benefits administration or a related HR role with similar functions.
Familiarity self-funded insurance plans.
Must be bilingual
Strong understanding of benefit regulations- ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc..
Proficiency in HR systems, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
