Our client in Arlington, Texas has an immediate need for an Assistant Project Manager on a direct hire basis

Assistant Project Manager Role:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project manager in preparing initial designs, final designs, cost estimates, specifications, and quality assurance for designated engineering projects.
Assist the project manager in organizing work assignments to adhere to contractual and client timelines.
Prepare comprehensive design calculations as necessary to fulfill specified design requirements.
Be familiar with relevant design standards in the jurisdictions where work is conducted.
Assist the project manager in scheduling and coordinating tasks with other departments (hydraulics, surveying, etc.).
Conduct on-site assessments as needed for effective planning and execution of the design tasks.
Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory bodies as required to meet project objectives.
Diligently document notes from meetings, phone calls, etc., and organize them in project files.
Maintain accurate and organized project and drawing documentation.
Develop a solid understanding of other areas within the company as needed to successfully achieve project objectives.
Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the project coordinator or company leadership.
Assistant Project Manager Background Profile:
Possess Professional Engineer License or actively pursue Professional Engineer licensure.
Demonstrate experience managing projects from inception to completion, with a clear understanding of the necessary steps involved.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
Comply with company policies and procedures consistently.
Engage in regular communication with colleagues and particularly with the project manager to ensure all tasks are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Set a positive example through punctuality for work and meetings; ensure timely submission of time cards and billing.
Exhibit strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Establish internal deadlines and consistently meet client deadlines.
Demonstrate team-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
