Our client, located in the Jersey Village area of Houston, TX, is in need of a Administrative Assistant for an open-ended contract that could go contract to hire.
Oilfield service company that has been in business for 20+ years
Invoice preparations, ensuring accuracy in billing rates, and contracts
Prepare proposals; set up bid files and maintain proposal log
Duplication and distribution of reports and documents
Administrative support functions as requested, directed or assigned
Enter information into Excel spreadsheet and be familiar with adding columns.
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have VERY strong Microsoft Excel skills
2 – 4 years’ experience in an administrative support capacity
Business school, Associate’ s degree, or course work is a plus
Must be able to work the work schedule without exception
Must be punctual and have outstanding attendance
Must be able to take direction well
Must be a note taker when being trained
Must be able to pick things up quickly
